TB-58 Hustler
Little Rock Air Force Base
Jacksonville, AR

B-58

B-58 Hustler on display at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, Texas. This Hustler has since been moved to the heritage park at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Arkansas. This B-58 is actually a TB-58, one of 8 pre-production YB-58 Hustlers rebuilt as dual control trainers. The museum in Galveston was heavily damaged by Hurricane Ike on September 13, 2008. The museum filled with water from the strom surge, and most of the aircraft and exhibits ended up floating in the water, crashing into each other. The B-58 was beat up and one wing was badly damaged. Little Rock AFB had been trying for years to get a B-58 for display, so they jumped at the chance to obtain the Hustler, repair the damage, and put her on display.
